We convert point cloud data captured from 3D laser scans into structured, usable models. The output reflects the actual condition of the building as it exists on site, not as it was originally designed. This is used for renovation projects, extensions, fit-outs, and any work where reliable as-built information is needed before design begins.
What We Cover
Point cloud data on its own is not directly usable for design or coordination. Without processing and structuring, it becomes difficult for teams to work with or extract meaningful information. We process, clean, and register scan data before building a structured BIM model that reflects actual site conditions. This allows the project team to work with reliable geometry instead of assumptions. The level of detail is adjusted based on project requirements, ensuring the model is accurate enough for coordination, design validation, or drawing production.
Scan data reviewed, cleaned, and registered so it can be used as the reference for modelling.
Existing walls, floors, ceilings, columns, openings, and building envelope modelled from the scan to reflect actual site conditions.
Visible MEP services, ductwork, and pipework captured in the model where they are identifiable in the scan data.
Level of detail agreed at the start based on what the model will be used for, whether that is early design, detailed coordination, or drawing production.
Deliverables
As-Built Model
Structured model built from scan data reflecting the current condition of the building, ready for design or coordination work.
As-Built Drawing Set
Plans and sections extracted from the as-built model showing existing layouts and dimensions.
Deviation Report
Summary of significant deviations between the original design drawings and what was found on site, where applicable.
