We convert 2D AutoCAD drawings into structured 3D models. The output is not a traced shell. It is a properly built model with correct levels, categories, and components that can be used for coordination, drawing extraction, and further design work without rebuilding from scratch.
What We Cover
Many projects still begin with 2D CAD drawings, but converting them into usable BIM models requires more than simply importing files. Misinterpretation at this stage can lead to coordination issues later. We review the drawings carefully, understand the design intent, and build a structured 3D model with correct levels, components, and discipline separation. The focus is on creating a model that is usable for coordination, not just visualisation. This ensures the BIM model becomes a reliable base for MEPF modelling, clash detection, and drawing production without requiring rework.
Existing CAD drawings reviewed for completeness and any gaps or inconsistencies flagged before modelling begins.
Full 3D model built from the 2D drawings with correct levels, components, and categories across all required disciplines.
Model elements populated with relevant data including room names, areas, equipment types, and other properties needed for schedules and reports.
Model structured so it can be immediately used as a base for MEPF modelling or clash detection without rework.
